Company History

Tak Wing Shipping Co. (HK & Macau) was founded by Mr. Cheng Chao Fun in 1950. As a reowned trader and supplier of live sea catches in the Pearl Delta region, Mr. Cheng was well aware of the importance of logistics. In order to ensure uninterrupted deliveries of his catches to his customers in Hong Kong and Macau, Mr. Cheng purchased his first cargo vessel and established the company in 1950. In light of growing needs for logistical services in the region, the Company decided to establish a fleet of cargo vessels during the 60's and 70's. Because the Company is extremely concerned with needs of our customers, all of our vessels are designed and tailored accordingly. Of great honor, one of our cargo vessels had been included in a set of commemorative stamps issued by the Postal and Telecommunication Authority of Macau.
